Leadership of Democratic Group in Engineers Association of Five Provinces

In the election for the new leadership of the Nepal Engineers Association, a majority has been elected in five states, including democratic group office bearers.

 According to the election committee, the Center for Democratic Engineers Nepal (CEDEN) has elected a majority in five states. Umesh Gupta, a member of the election committee, informed the RSS that democratic groups have been elected in Province No. 1, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Far West. He said Siden's group had been elected with a majority in five provinces, including the leadership.

  In Madhesh Pradesh and Bagmati, where the votes are being counted now, the office bearers and members of Siden have the lead in many posts. Counting of votes in one of the two constituencies of Madhesh Pradesh and one of the three constituencies of Bagmati is underway. The committee has stated that the results of the Janakpur-Kathmandu centre will also come by this evening. Voting has taken place for the second term of the state after the state restructuring.

  Jayanath Yadav in Province No. 1, Vrijendra KC in Gandaki, Shailendra Kumar Shrestha in Lumbini, Hari KC in Karnali and Pradip Kumar Pant in Far West have been elected as the president of the association. Shyam Kishore Yadav of Madhesh Pradesh and Rohini Poudel of Bagmati are the leading candidates of Siden.

Siden's lead in the central leadership

 Even in the central leadership, the office bearers and members of Seden have maintained the lead in the majority. A group led by Dr Hari Bahadur Darlami is vying for the post of the chairperson from the democratic group.

 Similarly, a group led by Dr Suraj Lamichhane from a progressive group is competing. Narayan Adhikari, a candidate for the post of vice-president, said that the rebel group from Syden had won the election in five states but maintained its lead at the centre. Voting for the 33rd working committee of the association was held on Friday, March 10. Syden's candidate is also leading in the five positions represented by the association in the Council of Engineers.
