Dharmaraj Shahi of the CPN (Maoist Center) has won the mayoral post in Raskot Municipality of Kalikot.
Shahi received 3,047 votes while his rival Dayaram Simkhada of the CPN (UML) polled 2,117 votes.
CPN (Unified Socialist) 's Maniraj Baral has emerged victorious as the deputy mayor. Baral got 2,809 votes and his nearest rival Uma Shahi of UML got 1,301 votes. An electoral alliance was formed between the Maoist Center and the Unified Socialists in Raskot.
