The meeting was scheduled to be held at the party office Dhumbarahi from 11:30 am on Friday. However, General Minister Mukul Dhakal informed that the meeting was postponed due to the election code of conduct.

In the presidential election, RSP voted for Ramchandra Paudel, the candidate of the ruling coalition.

Voting for the election of the Vice President is taking place on Friday from 10 am to 3 pm. Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Ashtalakshmi Shakya, Mamta Jha and Pramila Kumari Yadav are the candidates for Vice President.

Pramila has withdrawn her candidature and decided to support Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav. But his name is also on the ballot paper because he said that his candidacy was invalid only after the time of withdrawing his nomination.
