Civil Bank launches 'Go Cashless' campaign

On the occasion of its twelfth anniversary on 26th November 2022, Civil Bank announced the success of two different programs in Nepalgunj and Janaki.

Vice President of Janaki Rural Municipality, Lalmati Devi Katharia, who was also the chief guest of the 'Go Cashless' campaign inaugurated the program.

Speaking at the event, Chief Guest Lalmati Devi Katharia thanked the Civil Bank for choosing Janaki Rural Municipality, a developing rural municipality in the far west for this campaign. She said the campaign would provide banking literacy to the people of this region to conduct bank transactions through digital means.

Similarly, the chief guest of the inaugural program of the 'Go Cashless' campaign held in Nepalganj was the Deputy Mayor of Nepalgunj, Kamaruddin Rai. During the program, he said that the customers have now been provided with convenience and security via the digital payment system. 

The Chief Business of Civil Bank Bhola Bahadur Bista said that by paying only the amount of the bill through digital means and reviewing the details of your expenses, one can reduce unnecessary expenses and increase savings. 

The cashless campaign started by Civil Bank since August 2019 has now reached more than 40,000 QR merchants from the remotest places  to the major cities of the country.
