Nepal has been placed in Group 'A' in the 14th SAFF Championship Football Tournament to be held in India.
In the draw announced by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) today, Nepal has been placed in the group also including India, Kuwait and Pakistan.
A total of eight countries are participating in the competition, which will be held from June 21 to July 4. Similarly, the Maldives, Lebanon, Bhutan and Bangladesh are in Group 'B'. Sri Lanka is not participating in this edition due to a FIFA ban.
Nepal is the runner-up of the 13th SAFF Championship held in the Maldives, losing out to India in the final.
