Final tribute to Sanju Chaudhary

The last homage was paid to gold medal winner Sanju Chaudhary at the National Sports Council on Tuesday.

Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Nepal Olympic Committee Jeevan Ram Shrestha paid tribute to Chaudhary. Similarly, Member Secretary of the National Sports Council Tankalal Ghising carried the national flag and the flag of the National Sports Council.

President of Nepal National and International Athletes Association Deepak Shrestha, President of Olympian Association Deepak Bista, athletes, and sportspersons also paid homage to Chaudhary.

 According to the Nepal Weightlifting Association, Chaudhary's body will be taken to her residence at Bardia today.

 Sanju Chaudhary won a gold medal for Nepal in Women's Weightlifting at the 13th South Asian Games.
