Nepal's famous weightlifter Sanju Chaudhary has been found dead. She was found dead in Lubhu of Lalitpur. The cause of her death is still being investigated. She was in Kathmandu preparing for the Asian Games to be held in China.
She is the first Nepali female athlete to win a gold medal in the South Asian Games.
She won a gold medal in the 13th South Asian Games held in Nepal in 2019.
She won the gold medal in the women's 59 kg weight category of the South Asian Games by defeating a Sri Lankan athlete.
Her sudden demise has shocked the people of Nepal.
