Increasing participation of blind women in cricket

It has been found that the development of blind cricket in Nepal has been significant in a short period. Likewise, the contribution of Nepali blind women in women's cricket is appreciable. Geeta Paudel has been involved in visually impaired cricket for the past 15 years in the series against England in 2014 and the series against Pakistan in 2019 she also played the role of vice-captain and she was successful in bringing victory to Nepal in both the 2 matches.

Bhagwati Amagai was able to create national and international records with her excellent batting ability and also became the player of the series in the series against England and the series against Pakistan in 2019. In the same way, Muna Aryal has also contributed to blind cricket in her 14 years and was also able to become the player of the series in the series against Pakistan in 2019.

Compared to the past, it has been found that the number of blind women cricketers in Nepal is increasing. Related experts have said that cricket is an important medium for empowering blind women.
