Rashila Tamang, an ultra-runner from Nepal, has won the title of Asia Trail Master (ATIM) 2023 held in Indonesia. She completed the prescribed distance of 77 km for women in 12 hours 25 minutes 52 seconds.
Rashila wrote on her social network after winning the title that "Being a part of Asia Trail Master and winning was an amazing experience. Despite the incessant rain, I was delighted to see the beautiful landscape and path inside the lush forest."
"This win is for the country of Nepal," She said.
