5 athletes from Nepal are going to compete in the 18th World Muay Thai Championship to be held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Gunraj Ruchal at 57 kg, Purnajit Rai at 54 kg, Navraj Parajuli at 71 kg, and Sanjay Rai at 51 kg are participating in the competition. Danica Rai will play in women's 48 kg.
According to the Nepal National Muwanthai Association, Nepal has so far won 1 gold, 1 silver, and 7 bronze medals in different editions of the World Championship.
