Bhaweswor Sharma, the newly elected president of Thamel Tourism Promotion Council said that he is committed to making Thamel, Nepal’s major tourist area, as well-equipped as any other tourist destination in the world within 2 years.
In an interview with NepalNews, he informed that the council will arrange the necessary infrastructure to bring more tourists to Thamel by making it more dignified. He informed that Thamel will be developed as a mandatory destination for tourists while uplifting the local customs and culture within Thamel.
