KATHMANDU: Nepal is currently experiencing the partial influence of westerly winds.

As of Monday morning, the Weather Forecasting Division reported partly cloudy conditions in the hilly regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the country remains mostly clear.

There is a chance of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in a few locations within the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces today.

Additionally, some high hilly and mountainous regions may experience light snowfall, according to the Division’s weather bulletin.

The Division has urged the public to take necessary precautions, as rain, snowfall, thunder, and lightning could have a minor impact on daily life, agriculture, health, and both road and air transportation.
