Special discount for Nepali students in Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that a special discount will be provided to Nepali students. During a meeting with former minister and MP Mahesh Basnet in Dehradun, India, he said that the government was committed to providing discounts to students coming to Uttarakhand from Nepal. Chief Minister Dhami and former Minister Basnet exchanged greetings with each other today.

During the meeting, issues of mutual interest were discussed between Nepal and Uttarakhand, especially in the far western region, said Chief Minister’s Personal Secretary Bhuvan Tiwari. He also mentioned religious tourism and the transit, transportation problems, and irrigation problems between the people of the two countries on the Mahakali River.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Dhami expressed his desire to visit Pashupatinath and Kedarnath’s head Doleshwor Mahadev, said Tiwari. Recently, Dhami became the Chief Minister for the second time on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
