CPN UML’s Gokul Prasad Baskota has been elected in the House of Representatives election from Kavrepalanchok 2.
Baskota won with a margin of 5,863 votes against his main competitor, Nepali Congress candidate Shiv Prasad Humagain. Baskota has received 45,345 votes while Humagain got 39,482 votes.
