The 6th Bhaktapur Industrial Cultural Tourism Trade Fair is scheduled to start on April 8 this year. The fair is being organized in the 108 ropani area of Tinkune in Salaghari for the industrial, cultural, and tourism promotion of Bhaktapur.
The fair, which is being organized on the occasion of the New Year, will run till April 15. It will be jointly organized by Industrial Peace Nepal and Madhyapur Boys Band. The fair will have an exhibition of daily necessities, clothes, footwear, agriculture, and handicrafts. There will also be exhibitions of industrial products, information technology, rural technology, automobiles, electric agricultural tools.
A program for the presentation of national artists has also been arranged for the entertainment of the participants in the fair. According to the organizer of the fair, Deepak Thapa, fashion walks, dances, comedies, and song programs will be organized under the presentation.
Similarly, the best kindergarten in Asia has been arranged for children. Ferris Wheel, Ranger, Maruti Circus, Dragon Break Dance, etc. will also be arranged for entertainment. The fair will also feature exhibitions and sales of national and international dishes.
According to the organizers, about 200 stalls will be at the fair. Those who want to have a stall for the fair can book a stall by paying Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 19,500 depending on the size of the stall. Chairman of the organizing committee Sandeep Mahat informed that most of the stalls have been booked.
One will have to pay a fee of Rs. 50 to participate in the fair. Students will receive a 20 percent discount on tickets. A discount of 20 to 50 percent has been provided for goods sold and booked at the fair. The fair aims to attract more than three lakh observers and trade more than Rs 80 million.
