On the occasion of New Year, Industrial Peace Nepal and Madhyapur Boys Band are going to organize the 6th Bhaktapur Industrial Cultural Tourism and Trade Fair 2078-079.
At a press conference organized by the organization here today, the chairman of the organization Sandeep Mahat said that the fair could not be organized for two years due to COVID-19 but this year the fair will be held from April 8 to April 15. He said that a massive industrial and trade fair is being organized on the occasion of New Year with the objective of providing all the products desired by the consumers under one roof at easy and affordable prices. Giving information that the fair will be organized on 99 ropanis of land in the name of Nepal Trust at Salaghari in Bhaktapur, he said that there will be more than 200 stalls at the fair.
During the press conference, the organizer of the fair Deepak Thapa said that all the consumables used in the daily life of the fair will be displayed in industrial products, information and science technology, rural technology, automobiles, electric machines, agricultural tools, mobile and electronics goods, cultural, trade and tourism exhibition, clothing and utensils. There will be exhibitions, Asia's best kindergarten, national and international food festivals and various presentations, said Thapa.
Stating that 20 to 50 per cent discount has been provided on the goods, he said that more than five lakh consumers are expected to attend the fair and a turnover of around Rs 80 million is expected. He said that the fair would include kindergarten, rotating, ranger, Maruti circus, dragon breakdance, boat and children's toys, comedy and satire of national-level artists, dance and song singing.
According to the organizers of the fair, residents of Bhaktapur, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Kavre and surrounding districts can benefit from it. A fee of Rs. 40 for students and Rs. 50 for others has been provided for admission in the fair.
