A motorable bridge has been constructed on Chilli river. A bridge has been constructed on Chilli River to connect Rainas Municipality-1 and Dudhpokhari Village Municipality-5.
According to Suman Giri, chief engineer of the Infrastructure Development Office, the construction of the bridge has been completed at a cost of Rs. 252.19 million by the Gandaki state government. Dev & Sayar Garwasi Rumba JV Construction Company had signed an agreement to build the bridge in April 2076 BS.
Despite the agreement to complete the construction within two years, the work was delayed due to the lockdown due to the pandemic, Giri said. The bridge connects Rainas Municipality and Dudhpokhari Municipality. It is said that after the construction of the bridge, an all-month transport service will be possible on Dudhpokhari road between Borangkhola.
