The first edition of the Nepal T20 League organized by the Nepal Cricket Association (NCA) will be held from the month of September.
Minister for Youth and Sports Maheshwar Jung Gahatraj formally announced the competition at a press conference organized by NCA here today. The competition will be held from September 23rd to October 22nd.
According to CAN, six different teams will participate in the tournament which will be held at the Tribhuvan Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. Although CAN had earlier announced the competition in a press release, the date could not be made public.
CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand said that he was happy to formally announce the official T20 league of Nepal and expressed confidence that the tournament would make a leap forward for Nepali cricket in terms of tourism and business.
