Counting of votes in Kathmandu Metropolitan City under local level election will be held from 8 am today. Ballot boxes were brought to the office of the Chief Electoral Officer at the National City Hall after 5 pm. It was decided to hold an all-party meeting and count the votes from 8 am, said Assistant Election Officer Prem Prasad Poudel.
The counting of votes will be done in 5 places.
There are 55 candidates including 35 independents in the metropolitan city of Kathmandu.
