CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that the propaganda that the election will be postponed while all the political parties are going among the people in the process of local level election is not true.
"Some people are found saying that the election will be postponed till the morning of the election day, aren't they? This is a kind of trend in Nepal, ”said Chairman Prachanda. "The election will be held on May 13. ”
In a press conference organized by the CPN (Maoist Center) at the party's central office today, he said that the election is being rumoured to be postponed because Netra Bikram Chand's group participation in the election. Asked about the question, he said, "There is a consensus among the coalition parties on how to get the revolutionary group to participate in the election. They have also come to participate in the election. That should be respected. But the election will not be postponed. ”
Chairman Prachanda expressed confidence that the people would reaffirm their alliance formed for the defense of the constitution, democracy, federalism, secularism, inclusive and proportional representation.
