The country is experiencing the effects of both westerly and local winds. It has resulted in partial changes in weather in the hilly areas of the eastern belt while the remaining parts have clear weather.
The Weather Forecasting Division has predicted that a few places in the hilly region of the country will get brief rains coupled with thunder and lightning this night.
Similarly, a few places in the Terai belt will have storms on Sunday, while one to two places in the hilly region will see brief rainfall with thunder and lightning.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded the temperature at 30 degrees Celsius at maximum and 12 Degree Celsius at minimum. In the last 24 hours, Dharan got 16.7 mm of rainfall, while Taplejung 15 mm, and Dhankuta 11 mm.
