Until further arrangements are made by Nepal Rastra Bank, the new license of 'money changer' has been closed at other locations except Tribhuvan International Airport and Gautam Budh International Airport in Bhairahawa.
Nepal Rastra Bank has made this arrangement by revising the Integrated Circular 2078. Nepal Rastra Bank has issued a notification and said that until further arrangements are made, the work related to granting new license of money changers in places other than international airports has been stopped.
The integrated circular 2078 issued to licensed entities for foreign exchange transactions has been amended.
