Nilza Wangmo Rai, the organiser of the event says, “The main motive of organising this event was to bring out the child artisans and entrepreneurs With a target age of less than ten years, Farm Shop held its first ‘Kids Market’ for a cause today, December 18 at Le Sherpa. The event was held to collect books donated by event attendees in order to build a school library for Shyala School.
Child artisans and kidpreneurs flooded the market, selling everything from bakery goods to chocolates and chips. The event’s organiser, Nilza Wangmo Rai, says, “The main goal of organising this event was to bring out the child artisans and entrepreneurs to come and sell their creations at our event.”
