KATHMANDU: World-renowned Pakistani ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali, son Aamir, and grandson Nazir have released a mesmerizing song, Ghazal Unkai, Geet Unkai, during their Nepal music tour.

The song was officially launched on YouTube, capturing the poignant moments of the Ghulam Ali: Three Generations on One Stage program in Lalitpur. The music, backed by Milan Moktan’s soulful music and Manoj Khadka’s poignant lyrics, beautifully integrates three generations of musical prowess.

Moktan, who is also the head of Sadhana Kala Kendra, played a key role in making Ghulam Ali’s Nepal tour a reality. The music video captures touching scenes from Ghulam Ali’s grand welcome at Kathmandu airport to the electrifying stage performance.

The song has been arranged by Kiran Kandel at Pragya Sound Studio. The lyricist Khadka had named it as a historical ghazal since it is the first song ever recorded by three generations of the legendary Ghulam Ali family. The video also provides an insight into how this masterpiece is being created and hence is a must-watch for everybody who loves music.
