Sculptures and Statues of Lord Buddha

Statues and idols are an important part of Buddhism. Most statues are made from copper, which is  given the finishing touch with gold plates. The pricing varies from the size of the statue and its quality. 

Harsa Ratna Shakya is a sculptor. He is 60 years old. He follows Buddhism and makes statues of copper, gold, silver, etc. His shop is family has been in the business for many generations. According to him, perfecting a single statue takes nearly 3 months.
