The body of a child who went missing after drowning while swimming with his friends in Gaukandri River in Kailari Gaonpalika-6 has been found today.
The body of Nikhil, 11-year-old, son of Deepak BK of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis-19J village has been found 800 meters south of the incident site on the bank of Gaukandri River, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Ved Prakash Joshi.
The body has been sent to Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi for autopsy. The deceased had gone missing after drowning while swimming with his friends in Gaukandri River on July 31 while visiting his maternal uncle’s house at Kailari-6.
