Chief of Army Staff General Prabhuram Sharma, who is on an official visit to the United States, and members of the delegation have visited U.S. Army Fort Lesley J. McNair, National Defense University (NDU) in Washington, D.C.
During the visit, General Sharma met with National War College (NWC) Commandant Brigadier General Jeff Hurlbert. He then received information from NWC, Dwight D, Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy and Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies on various aspects including educational activities and training.
During the visit, Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma and members of the delegation visited the United States Army War College (AWC) and the United States Army Heritage and Education (USAHEC) in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. So far, 16 Nepal Army officers have been trained at the college and one colonel is currently undergoing training.
