The government has transferred five secretaries. At a press conference held at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology today, Minister for Communications Gyanendra Bahadur Karki informed about the decision taken by the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday.
Similarly, Secretary at the Ministry of Water Supply Suresh Acharya has been transferred to the post of Secretary to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and Secretary to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Maniram Gelal has been transferred to the Ministry of Water Supply.
Similarly, Secretary of Nepal Trust Office Gopal Prasad Sigdel has been transferred to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport. The cabinet meeting had approved the address made by President Vidyadevi Bhandari to the joint sitting of both the houses of the federal parliament on Tuesday. Government Spokesperson Karki informed that it has been decided to approve the visit of Deputy Attorney General Dr. Tek Bahadur Ghimire to participate in the Cyber Security Leadership Program and Training to be organized in the United States.
Minister Karki said, "It has been decided to approve the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Madhesh Pradesh Chief Secretary Krishna Bahadur Raut to participate in the Comprehensive Security Course to be held in Honolulu, USA and the delegation led by the Minister of Agriculture to participate in the food security program in India."
The government has also decided to publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette prohibiting strikes in 25 essential services in the public interest and to form a delegation led by the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to attend the 14th meeting of the Indo-China Diplomatic Consultation Mechanism to be held from today.
Similarly, the government has decided to give approval to the visiting team led by the Minister of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation to participate in the programs related to agriculture, fruits and cooperatives in Germany, Belgium and France from June 12 to June 19.
It has also been decided to give approval to the Minister of Communications to participate in the telecommunication program to be held in Kigali, Rwanda. According to Minister Karki, the Council of Ministers has decided to promote Nepal Agriculture Service, Fisheries Group and Gazetted First Class posts as per the recommendation of the Public Service Commission.
