Four metric tons of garbage have been managed by cleaning the right and left bank of the Bagmati area of ​​the Shankhamool area.

In the 452nd week of the Bagmati Sanitation Campaign, the campaign workers had gathered at the river bank at 7 in the morning, ignoring the cold weather. Former Chief Secretary and Chief Campaigner Lilamani Poudyal, Chairman of the empowered Bagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee Uddhav Prasad Timalsina, Chairman of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-11 Hiralal Tandukar, various organizations, locals, staff of the empowered Bagmati Committee, and activists of the Bagmati Sanitation Campaign were active in the cleanup.

Campaigner Kishore Singh Shahi informed the RSS that the garbage collected from the cleanup was managed from the vehicle of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Next week, on Saturday, January 1, the Shankhamool Bridge area will be cleaned from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. He informed that the cleaning campaign will not be stopped even after the day of Maghe Sankranti festival.

Since the beginning of the Maha Abhiyan on June 19, 2070 BS, the Maha Abhiyan has not been stopped even in adverse conditions including festivals, cold, heat and natural calamities. Influenced by the Maha Abhiyan, a clean-up campaign has been started in the tributaries of Bagmati, Chakrapath, the main cultural heritage site in the Kathmandu Valley.

Currently, 25 places in Kathmandu Valley are being cleaned. The main rivers, cities, and cultural heritage sites outside the Kathmandu Valley are also being cleaned. It is stated that the cleaning campaign has been started in 109 places outside Kathmandu Valley. In the 251st week of the Manohara cleaning campaign, the riverbank near the herbal bridge at Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32 has been cleaned. A total of 100 people including various organizations, police, and locals were active in the cleanup. Coordinator Chandra Dangal informed the RSS that a vehicle was managed from the garbage.
