The Election Commission had sought permission from the Home Ministry last year to bring ballot boxes from four remote polling stations via helicopter to the Returning Officer’s office. But as the weather became unfavorable, the helicopter could not come. 

According to the District Election Office, the ballot boxes will be brought from Yangma to the office of the Returning Officer, Tapethek, as soon as the helicopter arrives.
