Majority of women voters in Kanchanpur

There are 8,871 more female voters than male voters in Kanchanpur

According to the final voter list announced by the Election Commission for the local level election on April 12, the number of voters in Kanchanpur is 295,354.

Accordingly, the number of male voters is 143,241 and the number of female voters is 152,112. There are 8,871 more female voters than male voters. Kanchanpur, which has nine local levels, has the highest number of 66,650 voters in Bhimdatta municipality. The lowest number of voters is 14,014 in Laljhadi municipality.

There are 40,338 voters in Krishnapur municipality, 34,063 voters in Punarbas municipality, and 14,737 voters in Beldandi Village Municipality. There are 34,539 voters in Belarus, 26,803 in Dodharachandani, 32,760 in Vedkot, and 31,448 in Shuklaphanta municipality.

There are 132 polling stations and 341 polling booths in Kanchanpur. The highest number of 20 polling stations and 71 polling booths have been fixed in Bhimdatta municipality. There are 18 polling stations and 42 polling booths in Belauri, 17 polling booths and 40 polling booths in Punarbas, 16 polling booths, and 33 polling booths in Dodhara Chandni, and 15 polling booths and 44 polling booths in Krishnapur Municipality.

Similarly, 14 polling stations and 38 polling booths have been fixed in Shuklaphanta Municipality, 15 polling booths and 37 polling booths in Bedkot Municipality, nine polling booths, and 18 polling booths in Laljhadi Municipality, and eight polling booths and 18 polling booths in Beldandi.

Where is the Returning Officer?

The Election Commission has appointed Madan Bahadur Dhami as the Chief Election Officer in Kanchanpur in accordance with Article 7 of the Local Level Election Act 2073 BS. The commission has appointed District Court Judge Dhami as the Chief Election Officer. Narendra Bahadur Budha, registrar of Dhami and Mahendranagar High Court in Bhimdatta Municipality has been posted in Krishnapur.

Kiran Joshi, Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs in the Rehabilitation Municipality, and Surendra KC, Chief of the Land Reform and Land Revenue Office, Kanchanpur in Beldandi Municipality have been appointed as Election Officers. District Attorney Tara Singh Dhami of District Government Attorney's Office Kanchanpur in Belauri Municipality and Director of Foreign Employment Department Kathmandu Dambar Bahadur Sunwar have been posted in Dodharachandani.

Similarly, Kul Prasad Khanal, Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in Laljhadi, Jayanti Awasthi Bhatta, District Court Judge in Bedkot, and Tara Prasad Joshi, bench officer of the Supreme Court in Shuklaphanta Municipality have been made election officers.

1.6 million more voters in the Far West

According to the final voter list published by the Election Commission, the number of voters in the Far Western Province is 1.632 million. The number of male voters is 800,662, the number of female voters is 831,470. There are 1,135 polling stations and 2,102 polling booths in the far western region.
