A dead body of a man who appears to be approximately 55/56 years old was found in New Road, Kathmandu. SP Dineshraj Mainali of District Police Complex Kathmandu informed that the body was found inside a temple near Juddha Shalik this morning.

According to the police, he is a wage laborer. However he has not been identified yet.

The man has an injury on his head. A long piece of wood, similar to that used for the door, was also found at the scene. Looking at the nature of the incident, the police have made a preliminary estimate that he may have been murdered.

The team of the Valley Crime Investigation Office reached the spot and the incident is being investigated.
