A teenager has died after falling into the Seti river from a wooden bridge here today. The deceased has been identified as Dhullu Adhikari, 17, of Ardash Gaonpalika-6 in Doti. He died after falling from the Seti River bridge while on his way to Siga Gaonpalika-7 Sangda.
The suspension bridge at the site was built as a temporary wooden bridge after the bridge was washed away by the floods along with the incessant rains last October.
Citizens of the border areas of Doti and Baitadi are currently forced to evacuate from the temporary bridge as the flood-damaged suspension bridge has not been rebuilt.
