Wages of workers in Malaysia have been increased. On May 1, World Labor Day, new rules regarding wage increases have been implemented. Millions of Nepali workers working in Malaysia will also benefit from the government’s decision to increase wages.
On the weekly Facebook Live program of the Nepalese Embassy in Malaysia, a representative of the embassy, Prakash Panthi, informed that the basic salary of workers has been fixed at 1500 Malaysian ringgit with effect from May.
The Minister of Human Resources of Malaysia has also informed about the increase in the salary of the workers.
