The Malika Municipality of Gulmi has constructed a ring road to connect all the wards with the road network.
As per the plan to connect each ward with the village center, a 77.2 km ring road has been constructed. Chairman of the village municipality Rit Bahadur Thapa informed that it has been taken as a scheme of pride of the municipality road network. "Within five years of our election, I have provided road access to all the wards of Malika, known as the worst of Gulmi," he said.
Spokesperson of the village municipality Shobhakhar Giri informed that the ring road was constructed at a total cost of Rs. 40 million. He said that the ring road connects Tirtire, Simaltari, Arjai Bom, Neta, Liling, Bhimgithe, Patakharka, Darling, Gangare, and again to Arkhabang through Arkhbang of Ward No. 4 of Malika village municipality. Apart from Chakrapath, Madanbhandari road, Saljandi-Dhorpatan road, and roads connected to Madhya Pahadi road are being upgraded and gravel is being worked on, he said.
