People's Freedom Party's candidates have won the posts of mayor and deputy mayor in Bhajani Municipality in the Kailali district.
Kebal Lal Chaudhary and Raju Tiruwa won the election as mayor and deputy mayor, respectively. Chaudhary secured the post with 7,475 votes by defeating Maoist Centre's Sher Bahadur Chaudhary, who got 3,871 votes.
Likewise, Tiruwa was elected by getting 6,225 votes.
People's Freedom Party also won the election in three wards in Bhajani while parties in the alliance won four and two others by CPN (UML).
