Polling stations classified into three levels

The 161 polling stations in the district have been classified into three levels from the point of view of security. The site has been classified by the District Security Committee after inspecting the polling station.

According to Chief District Officer Asman Tamang, the classification is based on the activities seen in the previous election and the activities that may take place now. The committee meeting has identified 31 sites as highly sensitive, 82 as sensitive, and 48 as normal. According to Chief District Officer Tamang, the number has been classified after inspecting the polling stations. It is said that the site has been classified on the basis of the incidents that took place in the previous election.

There are 451 polling stations in seven municipalities of the district. The District Election Office will deploy 2,255 staff for the election at the center and three volunteer staff will be appointed locally at each center, said Bhimsen Karki, Chief of the District Election Office, Chitwan

According to him, staff has been demanded the election. The election officer will be appointed on April 13 and the officers will be trained on April 13 and 14. He said that the office of the Election Officer will be established in seven municipalities on April 25. There are three lakh 97 thousand 685 voters in the district in the election to be held this April.
