The second meeting of the bilateral consultative mechanism established between the foreign ministries of Nepal and Myanmar will be held in Myanmar next month. The consultative mechanism has been established with the objective of strengthening the existing diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Speaking at a function held on the occasion of the 13th Annual General Assembly of the Nepal-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the capital on Friday, Ambassador of Myanmar to Nepal, Sein Oo shared that the meeting is going to be held in Myanmar next month. Ambassador Sein also said that he is active in the promotion of trade, investment, tourism and culture between the two countries.
President of the Chamber, Shiva Kumar Agarwal, requested Ambassador Sein to take the initiative to start direct flights to Gautam Buddha International Airport from Myanmar and called for further cooperation for bilateral trade, investment and tourism development.
