KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has seen a double-digit increase. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 23.86 points to 2,700.04 points.

According to the NEPSE, 14,442,683 shares of 318 companies were bought and sold 53,884 times, resulting in a turnover of Rs 5.44 billion 444 million 35,901. In today’s trading, the sub-indices of the manufacturing and processing and non-life insurance groups decreased, while the sub-indices of all other groups increased.

The trade group increased the most by 9.44 percent and the finance group by 3.12 percent. The share price of Central Finance Company Limited entered a positive circuit today, while the share price of Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) Limited entered a negative circuit.
