Hillingdon Hospital in London, UK is going to celebrate Nepal Day on the 25th of February. Danny Karysninoz, who works as the head of diversity and inclusion in the management of Hillingdon Hospital, has informed.
People from 78 countries are currently working in various positions there. The 'Hillingdon Hospital Nepali Group' of Nepalis working at Hillingdon Hospital is working to support the program. The group includes Rasmita Singh Darlami, the manager of the hospital's jersey ward, Mani Tamang, the emergency room worker, Anjana Gurung and other Nepalis.
According to the group in charge of program management, the program will be started by playing the national anthem of Nepal at 12 noon on the same day in the hospital's fireplace and leaflets with English translation of Nepali national anthem will also be distributed. Anjana Gurung, a member of the group, said that Nepali songs will be played along with the costumes of different castes.
Audio-visuals covering various tourist destinations reflecting Nepal's geography and history will also be shown. Apart from this, pictures of Nepali art, music and other beautiful places and Nepali art will be exhibited at the venue of the hospital, said Rasmita Singh Darlali. There are about 150 Nepalis working in the hospital.
