The Pasang: In the shadow of Everest documentary, based on the biography of the late Pasang Lhamu Sherpa, the first Nepali woman to climb Mt. Everest, has won a Special Recognition award in Bentonville Film Festival in United States. Honorary Mention Documentary Feature award was received by documentary director Nancy Svendsen. Various documentaries as well as Pasang: in the Shadow of Everest were screened at the festival.
