COVID vaccinations are being provided in different parts of Kathmandu Valley amid a massive rise in COVID-19 infections. However, each center seems to have its own policies on whom to provide the vaccines to.

Locals are still unaware of which categories are getting vaccinated and how many vaccines are being provided on the day. Many have to return without the vaccine and unnecessarily create crowds. There have been cases where people wait in line from 1 am in the morning but still do not get shots.

One of the security personnel at Teaching Hospital says, "It is hard to maintain the crowd as people don't follow rules. We try to maintain two lines for men and women but they try to come up with many excuses saying their brother or sister is in the other line and try to go to a shorter line."
