Nepal America Journalists Association (NEAJA) is going to hold its 17th general meeting in Boston, Massachusetts. NEAJA informed that it was decided to hold its 17th general meeting on May 25-26, 2024 from the meeting held physically in the city of Austin, Texas, on February 24, chaired by Suraj Bhandari, the president of the association. NEAJA general secretary Baburam Dahal informed through a press release that it was decided that the general meeting to be held in Boston will be held under the coordination of NEAJA Regional Coordinator (North-East) Supendra Basnet. Likewise, NEAJA has also announced that it will publish its news bulletin through digital media covering contemporary topics including the needs of the Nepali community in migration.
Similarly, it is said that NEAJA, which is limited to the Nepali community, will cooperate with mainstream journalists' organizations in North America to expand its scope. Similarly, NEAJA is going to provide fellowships to journalists active in the field of journalism in Nepal and North America. It is said that this will encourage Nepali journalists who are doing journalism at home and abroad and also help them to be known at the international level.
Similarly, NEAJA is going to continue with the ``NEAJA Community Journalism Award'' which is being given to journalists in America.
