An open blood donation program has been organized by Community Service Center and Community Police Service Pokhara-1 Bagar today on the occasion of the 72nd Democracy Day. A total of 39 units of blood was collected in the program with the technical assistance of Blood Transfusion Center Ramghat. Sundar Tiwari, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Kaski inaugurated the program by handing over blood bags to Sita Gurung, Founder Chairperson of Community Service Center and Community Police Service Bagar and Hot Bahadur Roka, Deputy Inspector of Police.
Pokhara-1 ward member Rudra Prasad Subedi Chwai, General Secretary of Community Service and Community Police Service District Coordination Manpati Bhandari, President of Blood Donor Volunteer Society Nepal Jitendra Man Shakya, Chairman of Drug Social Reform Nepal Mothers Group Vishnu Gurung, Radha Manandhar and others discussed the importance of blood donation.
