Hospital with an investment of Rs 1.5 billion

A hospital operating in Bharatpur, known as Medical City, has upgraded and constructed a well-equipped building. The 55-bed National City Hospital is going to operate 100 beds by constructing a well-equipped building with modern technology.

According to Bikram Adhikari, manager of the hospital, the building has reached the final stage of construction with the permission of the Ministry of Buildings and Urban Development. Shree Medical and Technical College is the institutional shareholder of this hospital which has 200 shareholders. According to the official, with the operation of 100 beds, its investment will reach Rs 1.5 billion. He said, "We will have the best, well-equipped hospital in the district."

According to Saroj Dhakal, director of the hospital and executive chairman of Shree Medical and Technical College, the building has been constructed to accommodate up to 200 beds. According to him, state-of-the-art equipment is being imported. Some devices have already arrived and some are in the process of arriving. It is being developed as a large investment hospital after medical college.

According to another director of the hospital, Kalyan Joshi, the hospital was established 13 years ago at a cost of Rs 50 million in Narayangarh and is currently located in Chaubiskothi, Bharatpur. The hospital has been upgraded by purchasing about 12 katthas of land. He said that all the services including specialized services will be provided in the hospital. Joshi informed that the investment has been huge as the hospital has purchased the land itself and is constructing a building as per the standards of the Ministry of Health and installing modern equipment. He said that some types of equipment will be provided by keeping modern equipment which are not even available in medical colleges.
