KATHMANDU: Medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai, who was arrested on charges related to cybercrime, has been produced before the Kathmandu District Court for an extension of his remand.
The court has taken him to the court for an extension of his remand after the court had earlier granted him five days of detention for investigation.
Prasai was arrested by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) at his residence in Bhaktapur last Tuesday after a 'controversial statement' against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. He is also being investigated for money laundering, including cybercrime.
