KATHMANDU: The government has called on the parties protesting against the construction of the cable car in Taplejung for further talks.

The secretariat of the negotiation team under the Ministry of Home Affairs has called on Mukkumlung Tangsep Chumbho and Mukkumlung Inter-Party Struggle Committee for talks.

Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Prem Prasad Bhattarai is the coordinator of the negotiation team. The government has called for talks for a peaceful resolution of the dispute through talks and dialogue. The negotiation committee has been holding talks with the protesting group since February 4.
