125 new cases of coronavirus reported on Friday

Nepal's COVID-19 tally hits 275,750

The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) Friday reported 125 new cases of coronavirus. The addition of new cases has taken Nepal's COVID-19 tally to 275,750.

A total of 123 COVID-19 patients have been reported to have recovered in the past 24 hours. A total of 271,733 people have been reported to have recovered as of Friday, according to the data of the ministry.

Currently, the recovery rate stands at 98.5 per cent.

The MoHP reported the death of one more person in the past 24 hours. The nationwide death toll from respiratory contagion has reached 3,016.

A total of 2,230,708 people have undergone polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, according to the MoHP.

Presently, 51 persons have been staying in quarantine while 1,001 persons are in the isolation.
