8 people arrested in Dang. The police arrested 4 people from Tulsipur and 4 people from Ghorahi for trying to obstruct the road during the strike.
Among those arrested from Tulsipur are Sudarshan Sherpali, the coordinator of Nepal Dang, a youth association, vice president Dipendra Vali, district president of Journalist Association Hemant Prakash Vali and central member of All Nepal Revolutionary Trade Union Federation Sanjay Vali.
Similarly, Khuman Poudel, District Member Himal KC, Tarzan Vali and Prakash Buddha Magar were arrested from Ghorahi, as reported by the police.
The effects of the strike by 4 communist parties including Biplav-led CPN have been seen in Dang.
