COVID vaccine will arrive in few days, there will not be shortage: PM

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that there will not be any shortage of vaccines against COVID-19 in the country.

The PM in his address to the programme organised at his official residence in Baluwatar to virtually inaugurate Trishuli Transmission Line and Substation said that the vaccines would arrive in the country within a few days.

He informed that the government has held diplomatic level dialogues with various countries in this regard and many of them have assured to supply Nepal with vaccines. PM said that a vaccination campaign will be launched after the arrival of vaccines.

The Prime Minister said the government will make effort to administer the vaccine turn by turn in a short interval of time citing that it may not be possible to inoculate the entire population at one time.

PM Oli has claimed that from now on, the vaccines will arrive in the country regularly from time to time.
